Patriotic Christmas Show on PCB
We are proud to be a sponsor for Todd Allen Herendeen’s Patriotic Christmas Show to be held at the Panama City Beach Senior Center on December 19, 2014. Todd performed for us at the Grand Opening of the First Choice Physical Therapy clinic at the Village of Grand Panama. It was a great show. Todd is best known for his incredible Elvis tributes, but the show featured songs from many different artists.
Todd has written several patriotic songs about America, including “My Name is America” which was a huge hit across the nation. You can read more about Todd and the events he has at http://tentrevivalofamerica.org/. We highly recommend the show and hope you will be able to attend!
The Votes Are In 2014
Did you vote? “We the people have the power. Vote today.”, was the message we ran on our sign all day Tuesday. The process requires the public to exercise their Power. Time for a break from the process for a little while, but please be ready to Vote in 2016. It is not what the majority of Americans want that matters come election day. It is the majority of those that Vote that choose the direction for us all. VOTE!
Proverbs 22:6
Proverbs 22:6 – Train up a child in the way he should go,
And when he is old he will not depart from it.
Gabby and her dad (Scott) spent some time helping out at the PC Rescue Missions Klothes for Kids last Saturday. Around 1000 kids from this county received 2 school uniforms, 2 play outfits and a pair of shoes.
First Choice goes Germany
Over the past months the world’s most televised (yes more than the Olympics) sporting event, the FIFA Soccer World Cup has been watched by many Americans. Here at First Choice your Team of Physical Therapists and staff have followed the event closely, mainly because of one crazy German. In honor of the German national team winning the World Cup, we turned our Hawaiian shirt Friday into German soccer jersey Friday for this week!
We had a great time following the event but most of all we enjoyed how you, our patients got into it and had lots of fun with us. Only at First Choice can you experience first class therapy with lots of fun and laughter at the same time. Come join us next week for your therapy needs and make sure you’re ready for our weekly Hawaiian shirt Friday!!

Thanks to the Following businesses-
It was our pleasure
We get a lot of “Thank You” cards, emails and testimonials. We are very grateful that so many of you feel compelled to send those notes. The truth is that we are the thankful ones. As many of our patients realize, you have the right to choose were you get your physical therapy and a great many of you have chosen First Choice Physical Therapy. Surgeons and other Doctors may have a suggestion on where you could go for physical therapy, but the final decision belongs to the patient. Lots of them suggest us. If your doctor doesn’t think of us first, we hope you will let him know that you want to see us! When you do come and see us, you will likely be so pleased with the results that you may also find yourself with the urge to thanks us through email, cards or cookies.
We want to make sure you know that we are always thankful for you. It really is our pleasure to have been able to help you. Thank you for choosing us.
Soccer Game Day: U.S. vs Germany
We have the Soccer spirit at First Choice Physical Therapy!! We are very excited about the game. Even those of us that don’t usually follow the sport. Fortunately we have our own German import, Simon Haussmann, who is making sure we understand the nuances of the game. Though each of us might lean towards one team winning over the other team, the friendship everyone here has for each other should keep things from getting too ugly as we root for our favorite. We all agree that what we want the most is an exciting game highlighted by some awesome shots. Here’s hoping both teams play the very best that they can!
We have officially launched!
Wade Rinehart, Mayor Gayle Oberst, Ambassadors of the Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce and about 100 other family, employees and friends were on hand for the Grand Opening Ceremonies of the new First Choice Physical Therapy clinic at Village of Grand Panama.
Those that attended enjoyed snacks, cookies and cakes with the highlight being Another Broken Egg’s Shrimp and Grits. The threat of rain kept Elvis off the stage for a little while, but the weather improved enough for Todd Alan Herendeen and the band to play for most of the next 3 hours. We really had three main themes of our happy gathering. The Grand Opening ribbon cutting and plaque were center stage, but we also used the time to remind people of our support of All My Heart Haiti and to celebrate Wade’s 40th birthday.
Thank you all for your well wishes and prayers. Here are just a few of the 200+ photos snapped during the fun.
Start the countdown
Only two days before the ribbon cutting for First Choice Physical Therapy on Panama City Beach at Village of Grand Panama! Elivs will be there. Our newest neighbor, Hess Entertainment, has arranged for Todd Harrington to wow us with a little Elvis!! We will be using a couple of the lease spaces to set up tables with snacks, seating out of the sun and cooler full of water and soda. Oh, and don’t forget we will have Garth Brook’s old tour bus to walk through. (Hess does it again!) Just to make it a little more fun, and in honor of our Hawaiian Shirt Friday’s at our clinics, you are encouraged to wear your own Hawaiian shirt when you come out. Staff from both offices are going to be on hand to visit and greet our patients and friends. We hope to see you there.
Love your local business
We always do our best for our patients and love that our friends, family and the local community trust us to do just that, our best. Our business has been increasing at a steady rate for many years. We are local, our patients are local and in our efforts to grow we use local resources.
Some of the local resources we have used are:
Lynn Haven Ledger – over the years we have used many different advertising methods. The one we like the best is the Lynn Haven Ledger. We just love the “good news” feel of this paper. If you haven’t ever read one, we really encourage you to pick one up. It really is the kind of paper you want to read from front to back!
Health Care Monthly – Another paper that has real appeal to us, not just to read but also as a way to increase the readers knowledge of physical therapy (and other medical issues). Our ads have ranged from physical therapy specific to your health in general to invitations to the Grand Opening of our new beach clinic on May 10, 2014.
Premium Outdoor Signs – They have about 20 signs in all locations of the county. Right now we are using one in the Springfield/Callaway area at Transmitter Rd and 15th Street.
We love Lawnscapes and how well they take care of us. All the little extras we do for you once you come inside to make you feel comfortable and at ease about your care, actually start outside. Every time you pull into our facility, you cannot help but notice that everything you can see is pretty and calming. This past year Lawnscapes really came through for us as we did some major landscaping. We moved trees, added a rock garden and retaining wall, replaced flowering plants and redid a lot of bushes, too!
