Scott Champagne Has Another Fan

Scott gets another blue ribbon testimonial. We have a superior team made up of great individuals. We love to hear from our fans and today we got a letter from G. Scott from Georgia. Our Beach Clinic Director, Scott Champagne has another fan. Thanks for the very kind words Miss Scott.

Dear Dr. Rinehart,
Accolades to First Choice Physical Therapy services in Panama City Beach, FL.

I am from Georgia and was spending the week with family who lives in the same neighborhood as Physical Therapist, Scott Champagne. Scott saw me with my walker trudging the sidewalks and came out to speak. My daughter had shared my difficulty with balance and walking after having two back surgeries in three months. He said he felt he could help me while I was visiting if I was willing to give it a try. I was definitely willing. I have participated in a significant amount of physical therapy through the years and with several facilities. I was overwhelmed by his offer.

I am confident that a great deal of the healing took place in my body through his focus on core strengthening in just the one week. I will definitely use First Choice when I visit the area again. I am a champion of the quality of your facility and staff.

Thank you. I look forward to my next visit to your facility.
Sincerely,
G. Scott.

We have officially launched!

Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce and Mayor Gayle OberstWade Rinehart, Mayor Gayle Oberst, Ambassadors of the Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce and about 100 other family, employees and friends were on hand for the Grand Opening Ceremonies of the new First Choice Physical Therapy clinic at Village of Grand Panama.

Those that attended enjoyed snacks, cookies and cakes with the highlight being Another Broken Egg’s Shrimp and Grits. The threat of rain kept Elvis off the stage for a little while, but the weather improved enough for Todd Alan Herendeen and the band to play for most of the next 3 hours. We really had three main themes of our happy gathering. The Grand Opening ribbon cutting and plaque were center stage, but we also used the time to remind people of our support of All My Heart Haiti and to celebrate Wade’s 40th birthday.

Thank you all for your well wishes and prayers. Here are just a few of the 200+ photos snapped during the fun.

Grand Opening Tomorrow!

grandopening3Grand Opening Invitation

Saturday, May 10th is a big day for First Choice and owner, Wade Rinehart. Please join us from 3:00 – 6:00pm at Village of Grand Panama on Hutchison Blvd, between Shipwreck Island and Edgewater Resort.

We will have some snacks, cold soda and water. We have decorated a couple of the empty units at Village of Grand Panama so that you can cool off. Mayor Gayle Oberst is joining us for the ribbon cutting in front of First Choice Physical Therapy at 3:30pm. Todd Harrington is giving us some Elvis entertainment next to the fountain. Hess Entertainment is bringing Garth Brook’s old tour bus over so you can see how the Country singer had to rough it on the road. We have a Hawaiian theme everywhere in honor of our Hawaiian shirt Fridays.

Wade has even more to be happy about. It’s his 40TH Birthday!! So put on a Hawaiian shirt and come tell him Happy Birthday and get a tour of our newest clinic!

Thank you Joey Ginn

How would you like to get something everyday that you really enjoyed reading? As a great example of “old school” advertising, Joey Ginn of Centennial Bank (850-636-4963), has arranged for us to receive a fax every day. The one page is called “Business Digest”. It has “Please deliver to: Wade Rinehart” on the top and right next to that it says who is responsible for your receiving the fax. This is way better than the trash that comes in for buying printer ink or letting us know that somebody has preapproved us for a business loan! The other day it contained 3 simple math trivia questions about money. We like this kind of stuff so we thought we would share it. I said simple, I didn’t say they were not tricky! Go slow, think before you blurt and be careful. ?

Start the countdown

Only two days before the ribbon cutting for First Choice Physical Therapy on Panama City Beach at Village of Grand Panama! Elivs will be there. Our newest neighbor, Hess Entertainment, has arranged for Todd Harrington to wow us with a little Elvis!! We will be using a couple of the lease spaces to set up tables with snacks, seating out of the sun and cooler full of water and soda. Oh, and don’t forget we will have Garth Brook’s old tour bus to walk through. (Hess does it again!) Just to make it a little more fun, and in honor of our Hawaiian Shirt Friday’s at our clinics, you are encouraged to wear your own Hawaiian shirt when you come out. Staff from both offices are going to be on hand to visit and greet our patients and friends. We hope to see you there.

Love your local business

We always do our best for our patients and love that our friends, family and the local community trust us to do just that, our best. Our business has been increasing at a steady rate for many years. We are local, our patients are local and in our efforts to grow we use local resources.

Some of the local resources we have used are:

LHL adLynn Haven Ledger – over the years we have used many different advertising methods. The one we like the best is the Lynn Haven Ledger. We just love the “good news” feel of this paper. If you haven’t ever read one, we really encourage you to pick one up. It really is the kind of paper you want to read from front to back!

hr1

HCM adHealth Care Monthly – Another paper that has real appeal to us, not just to read but also as a way to increase the readers knowledge of physical therapy (and other medical issues). Our ads have ranged from physical therapy specific to your health in general to invitations to the Grand Opening of our new beach clinic on May 10, 2014.

First Choice Physical Therapy - 15th St @ Transmitter RdPremium Outdoor Signs – They have about 20 signs in all locations of the county. Right now we are using one in the Springfield/Callaway area at Transmitter Rd and 15th Street.

lawnscapesWe love Lawnscapes and how well they take care of us. All the little extras we do for you once you come inside to make you feel comfortable and at ease about your care, actually start outside. Every time you pull into our facility, you cannot help but notice that everything you can see is pretty and calming. This past year Lawnscapes really came through for us as we did some major landscaping. We moved trees, added a rock garden and retaining wall, replaced flowering plants and redid a lot of bushes, too!

Your Invitation Is Ready

Grand Opening InvitationWe are looking forward to seeing you at our Grand Opening on Saturday, May 10th. There will be tours of the facility and at 4:30pm Panama City Beach Mayor, Gayle Oberst, will be on hand for the ribbon cutting.

Do you need more reason to come out? How about Cake? Light hors d’oeuvres? Sodas and tea?

You still need more? You guys are a tough sell! Ok, lets step it up with a little help from Hess Entertainment. We will have Garth Brook’s old tour bus and internationally known Elvis impersonator, Todd Harrington has agreed to give us a little bit of sample of his awesome tribute to The King!

Seriously, we will be there from 3:00 – 6:00. Swing on by. Stay for a few minutes and see the beautiful new clinic or stay the whole time and enjoy the afternoon with us.

Our New Neighbors at Village of Grand Panama

Bonefish, Another Broken Egg, First Choice Physical Therapy, REMax AdvantageWe were looking for an area of professional offices, centrally located in Panama City Beach and if it had a place to eat close by that would be a plus. Village ofGrand Panama had all of that! We even liked the fact that there is room for other professionals needing a similar location! WR Property Management (nice folks 850-303-2835) tells us that there is a build out about to start for another Doctor. Exciting times! We are hoping that the other spaces available will continue to be taken by professionals from all types of fields. Medical, dental, accounting, lending, banking, real estate, travel agency, lawyer, day spa… really any professionals needing about 1500 sqft (or more) that would like to be in a stylish center not surrounded by retail shops.

Our neighbors in Village of Grand Panama on Hutchison Blvd are Dr. Ken Finch, Mason Title, RE/Max Advantage, Hess Entertainment, Another Broken Egg and Bonefish. We chose to move to Village of Grand Panama for more than one reason, but near the top of the list would have to be our neighbors!

Workout started at 6:00am

Stay active! We got to work Thursday morning and look what we saw! We don’t even open until 7:00am and these guys had started playing about 6:00. Looks like they played hard, too! Hats off to these guys. Young or old, one of the keys to staying healthy is staying active, even if it means getting up a little early.

Growth Continues 2014

marquee signWe opened at our new location on Panama City Beach on Monday. We are so excited. We have moved to 11501 Hutchison Blvd, which is in the Village of Grand Panama. They say location is everything. In this case we wanted to make this move not only to be more centrally located, but also to be in the midst of a professional center with lots of parking for our growing business on Panama City Beach.

Anchored by Bonefish and Another Broken Egg the complex has undergone a couple of changes since being completed at the end of the real estate boom and bust of 2006. Instead of a retail focus the complex owners are going for a professional services approach. Already there is Mason Title, RE/Max Advantage Real Estate, Finch and Finch (counseling and leadership training) and now a beautiful new First Choice Physical Therapy. Others have already signed on and are moving in as we speak (a prominent entertainment and promotions company) or starting their build out (cosmetic vein and skin disorders clinic). There have been talks that could bring in a bank branch and the corporate office of a local retail enterprise. If you know of someone in search of a fantastic location in a professional complex, they can contact us for a tour of our facility and to hear our story first hand.

Is your smartphone or tablet a pain in the neck?

karen-profileLet us take a moment to stop and look at your posture right now. Do you have your smartphone or tablet in your lap, head bent forward, and looking down? There is a good chance if your reading this article on your smartphone or tablet that you have found yourself in this position. Now take 10 seconds to look up and see how your neck feels. Go ahead, I’ll wait…………….Is your neck a little sore and tender from maintaining that position for too long? I have been spending more time than normal on my tablet enjoying a good book and have found myself guilty of maintaining that hunched over posture. If you are like me and are guilty of this as well, modify your posture to keep your head up and shoulders back. Also remember to take breaks frequently to stretch out your neck and shoulders. If these simple changes don’t make a difference in your neck pain, it may be time for you to give us a call!
